Public Library Construction Grant Program

Funds from an appropriation of $14 million in capital funds for public library construction in the 2009 State Budget can provide up to 50 percent of approved costs of acquisition, construction, renovation, or rehabilitation of public libraries or public library system headquarters. (NOTE: funding for the $800,000 grant program has been eliminated for 2009-10.)
