Free Customized Classes

Student and instructor at computer in the Library classroom.

The New York State Library offers customized classes for New York State businesses utilizing resources available from the Library.  Depending upon the need, we can develop a unique class selected from a wide variety of resources – electronic databases, journals, books, directories, industry standards and government documents, to mention but a few. Are you looking for information on companies or industries, demographics, imports/exports, statistics, suppliers, or management? If so, we can design a class for you.

Our state-of-the-art computer classroom offers an opportunity for hands-on training.  We are ready to come to your facility for a training session if you are located within the Capital District (Albany, Troy, Schenectady area) and have at least five people in attendance.

For further information or to schedule a class, please contact Reference Services at (518) 474-5355.

We also have a regular schedule of programs which are free and open to the public.  Each program offers an insight into some aspect of the NYS Library’s collections.
